Why not WordPress
Most agencies build in WordPress with a page-builder plugin. It works, but it costs you speed, security and upkeep. We hand-code in Next.js and host on Vercel.

About Tellra
Tellra is run by Abboud Said, a developer based in Järfälla outside Stockholm. We work with clients across Sweden – most meetings are online, and anyone in the Stockholm area can meet in person.
We build in Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind, and also work in C#/.NET, Python, SQL and Node. We speak Swedish, English and Arabic.

Common questions
- What does a website cost?
- A website with us costs 4,990, 6,990 or 9,990 SEK excl. VAT depending on the number of pages and features. The price is fixed and you know it before we start.
- How long does it take?
- A small package is usually done in 1–2 weeks, a larger one in 3–4 weeks. We set the exact timeline together in the first call – it mostly depends on how quickly we get text and images from you.
- Are there hidden fees?
- No. The quoted price is what you pay. On top of that there is the domain (about 170 SEK/year) and, if you want it, maintenance at 490 SEK/month.
- Can I update the site myself?
- Yes. Text and images can be edited by you if we add a simple editing tool, and the maintenance plan includes up to five small changes a month that we make for you.
- Why not WordPress?
- Because a hand-coded site is faster, more secure and does not need plugins updated every month. We do not build in WordPress at all – but we are happy to help you move an existing WordPress site to something better.
- What is included in maintenance?
- Uptime monitoring, code and dependency updates, backups, up to five small changes a month and a reply within 1–3 working days. 490 SEK/month excl. VAT, no lock-in.
- Do I own the site and the code?
- Yes. Once the site is paid for, the code is yours. We hand it over in a Git repository you can give to any developer.
- Do you only work in Stockholm?
- No, we work with clients across Sweden. We are based in Järfälla and meetings are usually by video or phone.
- What if something breaks?
- If you have maintenance we fix it as part of the plan. Otherwise we do a diagnosis for 290 SEK and give you a fixed price for the fix before doing anything.
- How do I pay?
- By invoice. Half at the start and the rest at launch for websites; larger projects are billed per stage.
